When the founder has to explain a date

Early on, the person writing code is often also handling support and updating investors. A slipping date usually only becomes obvious at the end of a sprint, when it's too late to do anything quietly.

On Business, ShipSprint recalculates delivery forecasts from your measured velocity as each sprint closes, so a date drifting out of reach shows up weeks earlier. Each person starts the day on a "my day" screen with only today's items, a one-tap time log on Team and up, and an "I'm blocked" button that pulls in whoever can help.

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. With three or four people, Tết, usually the longest break of the year, can stop a sprint entirely, and Reunification Day and Labour Day at the end of April and the start of May shorten another. Plan launches around them rather than into them.

Signing up from Hanoi: what to know first

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is a product of Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There's no office or local entity in Vietnam. Support runs by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 1 hour 30 minutes behind Hanoi, with no seasonal change. Our working day overlaps with most of your afternoon, and replies usually come the same working day.

Billing. Seats are billed per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay, monthly or yearly, and your bank converts the charge to dong. How VAT, or tax on payments to foreign suppliers, applies to a service bought from abroad is for your accountant.

Data protection. Vietnam's personal data rules are set by Decree 13/2023 and the newer Personal Data Protection Law. Before you put pilot users' details into the workspace, check the sub-processor list and the security overview against your obligations and what you've agreed with those users.
